We are a family who experienced the devastation of losing our home in the 2017 Tubbs wildfire. After losing everything, we made a conscious decision not to rebuild the same way. Instead, we sought a safer, more resilient alternative—one that could withstand future disasters.

Determined to create a better alternative to traditional wood homes, we took on much of the construction ourselves, learning firsthand what it takes to build for resilience. It wasn’t easy, but we gained invaluable knowledge that we now want to share.
